Mui Ne is well-known tourist place, but Mui Ne parish is a small community. There are 1192 lay faithfuls living among over 30.000 inhabitants of Mui Ne town. (3.9 per cent Catholics).
Some people call Mui Ne the capital of resorts, but there are still so many poor families in Mui Ne parish. The poverty of the town is shown in its economical and educational aspects. Although the Catholic community was established 123 years ago in Mui Ne, the challenges of faith begin to influence the lives of our parishioners. Some of us are poor even in the faith. Would you please, pray for us much more!
As Pope Francis-the Pope of the poor who said that “How I would like a Church which is poor and for the poor!”, the fact you are being among us, the poor of God, is a good message of the Church.
